The tract, along with adjoining Somerville North tract, is a timberland tract with future development potential.  It fronts on NC Highway 43/58 for approximately 1,900 feet and also has frontage on the Warrenton-Embro Road for approximately 2,300 feet.  The tract is located just past the Warrenton Golf Course with easy access to the surrounding areas.  It is also bounded on the east by Reedy Creek, which along with the acres of hardwood bottomland, adds to the recreational value of the property.  The tract has generally flat to rolling topography.
