William Gaskins

Bill Gaskins, District Manager in Sumter, South Carolina, started his career in 1996. He has a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Clemson University, is a Registered Forester in GA and SC, and is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in SC. Additionally, Bill is a member of several organizations, including the SC Forestry Association, the Forest Landowners Association, the Sumter County (SC) Landowner Association, and the Synovus Bank-Sumer Area Advisory Board. Lastly, Bill is a former American Tree Farm System inspector and a Certified Prescribed Fire Manager.

Why did you pursue a career in forestry?
The attraction of having a career that is spent mostly outdoors drew me to the forestry field.

What is your favorite part about your role at AFM?

The establishment and cultivation of many long-term relationships with clients, contractors, and co-workers has been the most rewarding part of my role at AFM.
